Mike Wye are an environmentally conscious building and decorating materials supplier. Having specialised in sustainable building practices for over 30 years, this website had to mirror the business’s value driven core whilst demonstrating their practical services. Vast, yet simple navigation, smooth shopping experience and a sleek backend designed for our client’s needs – we’re particularly proud of this project.
Intuitive navigation
The client and their visitors were in need of a simple navigation to house the extensive product range. The design needed to be accessible and easy to navigate on all devices.
WooCommerce online store
The site’s e-commerce functionality is built with WooCommerce. Immensely powerful, customisable and progressive, every aspect of the user experience is super user friendly – for both website editors and customers.
Flexible content editing
One of the client’s key objectives was for the new site to be easy to edit. We built a series of flexible, modular sections usign ACF Flexible Content, allowing site editors to assemble pages in an almost limitless range of configurations. Many of these sections include options and settings to offer a further variations in the page layouts, helping to keep pages lively and engaging.
