Most clients come to us for the full package — design, build and hosting. Some just need the visuals, with their own developer building it out. We can do that too, though we’d rather build it ourselves. Read more about our web development expertise.
Web page design or web site design?
You might have found us by searching for web page design, but it may be that you require more than a single page. Most websites are multi-page, i.e. they have more than one page. We do create single page websites for clients but these generally tend to be when the business is in start-up phase and does not require more than a single page of content on the internet: usually a full screen image, the brand logo and some contact details. If you require more than this, then you need a web site, not just a web page.

Ready to improve your web page design?
After final tweaks, we test across browsers, optimise for speed, and take the new site live. Read more about web design and our related services by following the links below, or contact us to discuss your project.
Answers to your web page design questions
Is a one-page website good for SEO?
A one-page website works well for a single, focused message, for example a start-up pitch or a one-page consultant profile. But it’s not the strongest choice if you want to rank for a range of search terms. Multi-page sites let you target more keywords, build topical authority, and rank for more of what people search for. If SEO growth matters to you, a multi-page website is usually the better long-term choice.
What's the difference between a single page and a multi-page website?
A single page website puts everything (your logo, an image, and contact details) on one scrolling page. A multi-page website splits your content across separate pages, each built around a different topic: services, about, case studies, contact. Multi-page sites suit businesses with more to say; single-page sites suit a simple, focused presence.
Do I need a single page or a multi-page website?
If you’re a start-up or sole trader who just needs a strong first impression (a logo, an image, and a way to get in touch) then a single page website may be enough. If you offer multiple services, want to build search visibility, or need space for case studies and content, you’ll need a multi-page website.
How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines depend on the size of the site and how quickly feedback comes back to us, but we’ll give you a clear schedule at the start of every project. We’re custom design specialists, which means every site is built from scratch around a unique brief. This means that every project is different. However, if you’re working towards a specific deadline and require your site ready by a certain date, you can let us know what you have in mind – we can look to work backwards from there.
What's included in a single page website?
A single page website typically includes a hero image, your logo, a short introduction to your business, and your contact details – everything a visitor needs on one scrolling page. We can add more, like testimonials or a simple enquiry form, depending on what you need.
How do I prepare a brief for a web agency?
Whether you’re looking for a single page website or a multi-page website, we think the best place to start in writing your brief is with a wish list. What do you want your website to do? We’ve written up an article about How to brief a web agency, which you can find here.
