Jamie McPherson is an incredible wildlife cinematographer whose online space required a freshen up to highlight some of his beautiful imagery. With recent credit’s such as Life on Our Planet (Netflix), Frozen Planet 2 (BBC) and Attenborough’s Our Planet (Netflix) – the exciting task for us was to build a website full of movement that flows as seamlessly as his film sequences and tv programmes.

On site load, viewers are welcomed with a striking window-width video loop featuring moments from Jamie’s work.
Packed with movement
Personally, our favourite element of this update are the lively film galleries found in the sub navigation after clicking ‘Film Clips’, categorised by the areas around the world that Jamie has filmed in.
Visually led design
With full bleed image layouts and smooth overlays, we channelled a Netflix feel across the galleries.
Bold visuals were a focal point for Jamie’s website, so we considered every detail surrounding the images – from rounded edges and soft shadows, through to gentle hover effects and overlays.
