London-based Greenaway Architecture deliver contemporary architectural design across residential, commercial and student housing sectors, and also specialise in working on sites in particularly sensitive locations.
We wanted to create a website which reflected the quiet confidence and intellect demonstrated in the client’s portfolio of work. The website takes minimalism to the extreme, but is thoughtfully fine-tuned throughout. The minimalist design enhances user experience, making it engaging, informative and accessible.
The homepage combines a clean slideshow with overview text, and each slide in the slideshow links to a corresponding case study. The main navigation menu is located in the top right of the window and is fixed position, enhancing accessibility upon scrolling.
The Practice page presents the company summary, contact details and social media links alongside the RIBA and Arb accreditation logos.
The Projects page presents the company portfolio in a fully responsive three column grid, displaying high-quality images at all window widths, with minimal page load time.
Each project featured in this overview page links through to further information, centred within the grid with a stacked image gallery, allowing the visitor to scroll through the project images effortlessly, or browse through them in a pop-up lightbox.
